To expand rapidly in India we have started a franchise program. We will be giving franchise by state. Each franchisee will have an exclusive territory.

The terms of the representation will be as follows:

• Provide at least one dedicated fully equipped premises under the banner of Pearl Travels. The premises should have reasonably presentable decor of at least 300 sq ft.
• Procure required equipment as follows – PC’s, fax machines, printers and broadband internet connections.Provide dedicated personnel for sales and operations with minimum 3 years experience in international tours and hotel reservations. All staff should be computer and internet literate.
• Procure and market exclusively Pearl Travels products (international & domestic) to the travel trade.
• Be responsible for collection and remittance of net revenues to Pearl Travels in invoiced currencies
• Contract with suppliers on behalf of Pearl Travels exclusively for products in their designated state only
• For all local products contracted the franchisee will be entitled to cost + 3% pricing.
• Not enter into contractual obligations on behalf of Pearl Travels without prior approval of Pearl Travels.
• Procure necessary stationery (cards, letterheads, etc) from Pearl Travels.
• Adhere to Pearl Travels overall business practise and policies in spirit and letter.
• Will ensure that all transactions are reported through the system only

• Offer 5% discount to the franchisee on all its database products.
• Offer 1% additional over ride commission for sales of database products over INR 50 lakhs in any calendar year.
• Offer exclusivity to the franchisee to introduce new products from their designated area into the Pearl Travels system @ cost + 3% 4. The franchisee will be the exclusive sales office of Pearl Travels in the designated area
• For Non database (not contracted) products NET rates will be offered.
• Provide training in respect of systems, operations and sales procedure to franchisee personnel.
• Offer regular training and inspection visits to the franchisee at their location.
• Will carry out advertisement in travel trade magazines mentioning the franchisee office address and contact points.
• Will create an office in Pearl Travels system under the franchisee location under which franchisee agents and products will be pointed.
